I have absolutely no clue what the onomatopoeia is. Personification, however, I do. It is how you show the personality, traits, demeanor, etc. of your character. Without it, you characters are just blobs that talk in monotone voices with no emotions or feels. Personification defines who and what those characters are. It is probably the hardest part of writing, or at least it is for me, but it is what makes the story "come alive" for people.
