Need Help!! My dog and my moms' dog fight everytime they see each other?

My dog and my moms' dog were introduced when they were 11 and 13 weeks old they are now 5 months and 7 months. My dog is a german shepherd/husky named Violet and hers is a Golden Retriever/Poodle named Addy. They got along perfectly up until about 1 1/2 months ago. Now every time they come face to face Violet starts to attack Addy. When Addy was little she would get mad at Violet and relentlessly bark at her for playing with her toys which would result in Violet giving it up and Addy getting her way. At about 4 months Addy started Violet while they would play to establish her dominance. Through out all of those little things that would happen Violet never got aggressive with her. My parents used to be really sweet to Violet and give her tons of attention but since the fighting they ignore her. I'm wondering if her acting out and starting fights with Addy is due to feeling pushed away by my parents? Any thoughts?
