Should I tell my mom?! I'm 13...?

Im 13, and one of my close guy friend is 13.... During school we skipped part of cl and we were walking down the hall, the we kissed, made out, got touchy, and I got a hickey! My mom will FREAK OUT if she sees it, I'm not even suppose to date yet! And I brought up and he said only if I'm ready... We've been friends since we were born.... And we've always had feelings for each other but idk if i should tell my mother!
